๐Ÿ‘‹ Greeting! We are from the Data Platform team, and we're here for you with the weekly updates!

This week the team was focused on finalizing the JavaScript version of NEAR Lake Framework and on the NEAR Lake Flow into SQL Base.

Now having the NEAR Lake ecosystem in place we're thinking about coming back to the Indexer as a Service idea described on NEAR Gov Forum almost a year ago.

Stuff we've managed to do this week:

  • ๐ŸŽ‰ near-lake-framework-js has been released today to NPM. The up to date version is 1.0.1 (not 1.0.0 because one should never release anything on Friday ๐Ÿ˜…) (@khorolets)
  • ๐Ÿค“ The above release is empowered with the tutorial on near-indexers.io (@khorolets)
  • The source code for the tutorial is published on GitHub near-lake-raw-printer-js (@khorolets)
  • We have identified the requirements for the account activity table that we plan to use on Explorer, Wallet, and DevConsole to display the historical activity on the accounts. It will feature receipts-level granularity and validators rewards (@telezhnaya and @frol)
  • Also, we had a cross-team conversation about the Indexer as a Service. We had figured out what we can accomplish this quarter in this regard (@khorolets, @frol, and @TiffanyGYJ)

And a couple of things we haven't finished just yet:

  • Working on a couple of tutorials for NEAR Lake indexers:
    • Tutorial how to add the start options from NEAR Indexer Framework: from-latest or from-interruption. The code is almost ready. We'll add a few comments here and there, and write a tutorial article
    • Tutorial on how to build an indexer to follow Events

And that's it for this week. It was a pretty intensive week and we think we did good progress. Let's keep rocking ๐Ÿค˜! Same place, next week, see you!

Have a question about indexers? Post it on StackOverflow with tags nearprotocol and indexer to get an answer!
