👋 How's it going, everyone? It's another Friday and another update of the Data Platform Team.
We know you might miss the Data Platform Community Meeting, and be sure we missed you too. Though we got you covered and we've published the recording of the meeting, so you can watch it. Please, enjoy the recording on YouTube
As we told you, this week our main focus remains the same: the new version of Indexer for Explorer (codename Data Warehouse) and the Alert Feature for DevConsole.
Let's move on to updates:
- We finally made the decision about our new DB. We have a working prototype of the new Indexer based on AWS AuroraDB. Write performance is 3-4 times better compared to our current Postgres solution.
selectstatements performance has a huge variation, and the median time is close to Postgres, we continue improving this. We're moving closer to the point where we can show the demo. (@khorolets)
